Thursday, June 22, 2017 – SAUK RAPIDS COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR ORGANIZATION PRESENTS THE SAUK RAPIDS AMBASSADOR PAGEANT, 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to come meet the 2017 Sauk Rapids Ambassador Candidates and say thank you and farewell to the 2016 Clo Meyer, Allyson Walz, and Sydney Burk.

Candidates participate in a nine week education program throughout May and June, which focuses on building confident young women through community involvement.  Based on Community Service participation, Essay Question, Interview, Poise & Projection and Impromptu Question scores, three new Ambassadors will be selected to represent our great community as well as receive a share of $4,500 in scholarships, which are provided by the Sauk Rapids Lions Club.

New this year to the Ambassador Program will be a special appearance and crowning of girls who participated in the Princess Program through Community Education.

The program starts at 7:00pm in the Performing Arts Center at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School.  Admission at the door is $10/Adult, $5/Child ages 5-10, and free to children 4 and younger.  Please e-mail correspondence and questions to saukrapidscao@gmail.com or visit the new Rapids River Days website.
